Regenerco works as a trusted confidante to businesses and Corporates. We cut through vested interests and guide the process of developing solar projects - sometimes for a single site, but usually over a large multi-site estate.
Regenerco has deep and embedded relationships with a wide range of EPC contractors, funders and other professionals. We pull together the most appropriate ones for a particular project.
Solar can be complicated, with grid connection difficulties, EPC-contractor choice, and different funding options. This complexity is magnified for larger organisations with a multi-site estate, where buildings and land areas all need assessing individually.
Regenerco’s role is to use its experience and relationships to cut through this, and help large organisations to successfully achieve multi-site roll-outs. For example, in recent times Regenerco has worked with Holcim and David Lloyd Leisure on multi-site roll-outs across their UK estate.

Solar PPA, behind-the-meter solar or private wire solar
This is Regenerco’s specialism. The terms are often used interchangeably for solar projects which are installed at a customer’s site, where a funder pays for the capital expenditure and then sells electricity to the customer. The funder owns the solar equipment, and the customer purchases electricity on a pence/kWh basis (in the same way as from the grid), but with a reduced cost, and with long-term security over price.
For the business, this turns the volatile risk of grid electricity prices into an immediate cost-saving, with predictable and secure long-term visibility, and significant carbon savings. For the funder, the long-term and predictable nature of the income stream means that the return on capital can be low.
